Speaking from experience, the majority of our customers over the years have seldom given a thought to the infrastructure that their website are hosted on and the one question you could draw up from this would be "Why should they?". This is exactly where Torindul come in. Since 2007 we've been developing websites for our customers that help them in their marketing goals, but since 2009 we've taken considerable steps further and made efforts to move our client websites to our own privately owned servers.

Why is website hosting an important factor?

Well, i'm sure you've heard all the jargon about SEO (Search Engine Optimization)... Well, for a few years now Google and, recently, it's competitors, have started to consider a websites loading speed and server location as vital to its ranking. For example, Joe Bloggs owns a .co.uk website address and is hosted on an American server as the exchange rate provides cheap hosting. Google is very likely to restrict that site, based on it's server location, to the United States version of Google, and lower it's ranking in the .co.uk Google - should it even exist on there at all.

How can Torindul help me?

Any website we develop where we also provide hosting, or any client who wants solely hosting, will have their website located on superfast servers (tech specs below) based in Schipol, Amsterdam. Our servers are linked directly, via our data centre partner, to many European Internet Providers offering rapid loading times within the EU and with only a slight speed decrease for those visitors who connect from the United States. With fast load times Google and other providers are much more likely to rank you higher than if you were to host with a entry-level hosting provider in the United States, or elsewhere. It's worth noting that website hosting is only one of many factors to improving search engine rankings.

How much do Torindul charge for hosting?

Our website hosting prices are bespoke to the amount of resources that each client requires. We DO NOT oversell our product. We cater to your websites needs, so if you're operating a traffic heavy onilne store, we would provision a server just for your store, should it require it. At the end of the day, we're here to ensure your website can deliver when your customers need it to, we have staff on-hand in the event of any outages and have in-house Linux System Administrators who attend HP ExpertOne training courses. We're scalable, and ready to meet your demands.

Server Technical Specifications (Geeky Stuff)

At Torindul our servers are not located in a back bedroom, they're instead hosted at the EasyNet Amsterdam data centre located a few streets away from Schipol International Airport. We make use of HP Proliant DL380 G7 servers with high uplink speeds to European ISP's and a data route to the EU-USA data pipe. Access speeds in the UK average from 24ms to 38ms and the US experiences 80ms to 110ms. 

Our shared hosting servers have the following base spec, although we opt to split accounts into VPS configurations. Bespoke hosting will differ.
